3Pillars has been partnering with CDS Defence & Security for the past year to deliver part of the cultural specialist course for the British Army's DCSU. It’s one of the most rewarding activities we do, a small group of 3Pillars staff and former participants spend the day talking with the British Army's future cultural specialists, advising on, discussing and exploring the the complexities of gangs and crime in UK cities.
Yesterday we lifted the lid on crime, youth, drill (the music, not marching), violence, young potential and proactive solutions to youth crime for the soldiers on the DCSU course. It's a brilliant exercise and unique opportunity to share experience and build relationships between 3Pillars and soldiers in the British Army and it's always a fun to see an army base!
