3Pillars Project, a pioneering charitable organisation dedicated to driving positive change in the lives of individuals within the criminal justice system, is delighted to announce that it has been awarded another substantial grant from Lloyds Bank Foundation. This strategic partnership will enable 3Pillars Project to expand its reach and amplify its transformative rehabilitation programmes.
Lloyds Bank Foundation's continuation grant comes as a significant boost to 3Pillars Project's ongoing efforts to empower individuals and effect lasting change through sports-based rehabilitation and mentoring programmes. The financial support provided by Lloyds Bank Foundation will play a pivotal role in continuing to enable the organisation to extend its reach to more participants, ultimately contributing to the reduction of reoffending rates.
"We are immensely grateful to Lloyds Bank Foundation for their recognition and support of our mission," stated Jennifer Mustoe-Castle, Chief Operating Officer at 3Pillars Project. "This grant will serve as a catalyst for our charity’s growth, allowing us to make an even more substantial impact on the lives of individuals striving to reintegrate into society."
The partnership between 3Pillars Project and Lloyds Bank Foundation has underscored for the past two years a shared commitment to fostering rehabilitation and positive change, by continuing this support for a further 3 years sustained change is even more likely. Lloyds Bank Foundation's financial contribution will aid in the development of innovative programmes, expanded mentorship opportunities, and an enhanced focus on addressing the underlying causes of criminal behaviour.
3Pillars Project's unique approach emphasises the use of sports as a conduit for personal development, social integration, and building crucial life skills. By offering participants the tools they need to rebuild their lives and become productive members of society, the organisation aligns perfectly with Lloyds Bank Foundation's mission to empower disadvantaged communities.
With the support of Lloyds Bank Foundation, 3Pillars Project is set to elevate its impact and establish even stronger foundations for positive change within the criminal justice system. This collaboration serves as a testament to the potential of organisations working together to bring about meaningful transformation.

About 3Pillars Project
3Pillars Project provides sports-based mentoring to inspire, challenge and empower young men within the criminal justice system. They start their journey with the charity whilst in prison; and through their Rugby Academy they become part of a team, boosting their physical, mental and emotional health on and off the playing field. They work with every young man as an individual, to their time frame, whether this is for months or years, to help them resettle into the community and develop a sense of belonging. Through mentoring and helping them to gain qualifications, training and employment opportunities, the apprentices are able to build a better future whilst in prison and beyond.
